Day 9: Droitwich to Newport
More canals.

More fantastic people along the way.💕
Discovered we had booked accommodation in Newport Wales not Newport Midlands (oops) but Premier Inn saved the day. Exit the following morning was via short cut through garden center.
Day 10: Newport to Northwich
Beautiful villages with gorgeous old houses. Coffee at Auldem cycle cafe with lovey tea cake. Eating this on the bench outside near the saturday home produce stall. Local cyclists, Caitlin and Lee , donated to my JustGiving page following an impromptu chat about our journey .
Travelled along the river in glorious evening light. Saw fishermen from local angling club carrying huge amounts of gear and wheel carts. Graceful Herons swooped across the water.
Pickmere Hotel north of Northwich provided our accommodation for the night and enabled us to machine wash our clothes for the first time!
